ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC)
ACC helps reduce driver fatigue on long trips and when driving in traffic. The system uses millimetre-wave radar and a monocular camera to measure the distance to the vehicle ahead and will accelerate or decelerate as needed.
FRONT AND REAR PARKING SENSOR
Ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumper detect obstacles when reversing. (GLX only).
HIGH BEAM ASSIST
Headlamps automatically dim to low beam when you experience oncoming traffic or vehicles driving ahead.
PEDESTRIAN INJURY MITIGATING BODY
The structure of the Across’ bonnet, front windscreen wiper area, front bumper and other parts absorb impact with the aim of mitigating head and leg injury in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.
SIX AIRBAGS
Drive with confidence knowing the Across is equipped with six airbags as standard. Designed to support both driver and passengers, they provide enhanced protection in the event of a collision.
REAR CROSS
TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)
RCTA is a supplementary safety feature that uses millimeter-wave radar sensors to detect and warn of vehicles approaching from the left or right when backing out of a space.
LANE KEEP ASSIST (LKA) AND LANE DEPARTURE PREVENTION (LDP)
When ACC is activated, LKA helps the driver maintain the vehicle’s position in the centre of the lane.
LDP detects the left and right lane demarcation lines and predicts the vehicle’s path.
BLIND SPOT MONITOR
BSM uses millimetre-wave radar sensors in the rear bumper to detect vehicles located in or approaching the rear blind spots on either side of the vehicle.
